We are a small business specialising in the conservation, restoration and repair of listed and historic buildings.
Whether it dates from the 12th century to the 20th century we have the knowledge and skills to restore, alter or build extensions to these buildings whatever the style and construction type. This knowledge base has been built up over many years of working on older buildings from terraced houses to stately homes, from churches to water towers. We have a wealth and depth of knowledge in building pathology and the identifying of defects in buildings. We also have knowledge of vernacular building styles and techniques.
This can be very useful when you are trying to work out what and how you can adapt or restore a building. We employ a variety of repair techniques both traditional and modern and will select the most appropriate method for building and budget.
A lot of conservators and restoration specialists are employed on very high-end projects such as Windsor Castle, Big Ben, and Kings Cross. This makes it difficult for somebody with a period house say a Victorian terrace house or a Georgian town house to find the right kind of tradespeople with the right sort of skills, knowledge and sympathy to repair, restore or alter their existing building. We aim to fill that gap providing local affordable expertise.
